Process 2: Go over past gaps.
You can't expect a house to stand firm without a solid foundation, nor will a brick wall hold up if individual bricks throughout are removed. Once gaps are indentified and addressed a person can progress onto higher more complex tasks.

Process 4: Identify student's preferred learning style
Each
of us have a preferred style of learning the main three are: Auditory, Visual or Kinesthetic. Think about whether you use simple rhymes or mnemonics; create visual charts and pictures; or get your hands moving - there is a style that works best for you.
It is important to identify what our preference is to allow us to develop effective memory strategies and study techniques that utilise our preferred style. You wouldn't expect to be able to teach someone who spoke another language to you and the same if with our learning styles- they are like our own learning language. AES tutors will adapt to teach in your learning style.
